Application Process for Birth Registration

Requirement for Birth Registration

Before submitting documents to the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Hong Kong, applicant must apply online. For online application please click here জন্ম ও মৃত্যু নিবন্ধনের জন্য আবেদন https://bdris.gov.bd/br/application. 

After completing the successful application, please make a print and submit it to the Consulate along with fulfilling the following requirements;

To obtain a Birth Certificate, an applicant must possess the following documents:

1) Bangladesh National ID (NID) card copy (if any);

2) Copy of the applicant’s Bangladesh Passport database page.

3) Copy of the applicant’s parent’s Passport database page along with Hong Kong Identity Card (if children);

4) A passport-size white background photo (55mmx45mm) of the applicant with the printed copy of the Birth Registration application form.

5) Duly filled-in Application Form in both Bangla and English (UPPERCASE letters) (pdf) Application Form ;

6) Hong Kong / Macau Identity Card copy; and

7) Applicable payment for Birth Registration fees;
