Application Process for Death Registration

Terms and Conditions

As per the Birth and Death Registration Law 2018; The Consulate General of Bangladesh in Hong Kong will accept death registration application from/for the Bangladeshi nationals who have been died in Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan following the below mentioned terms and conditions:

1. If the deceased’s Birth Certificate was issued from the Consulate General of Bangladesh, Hong Kong;
2. If the deceased did not possess any Bangladeshi Birth Certificate.

Requirement for Death Registration

1. Online application form properly signed by the deceased’s father / mother / spouse / son / daughter / frirnd / others; (জন্ম ও মৃত্যু নিবন্ধনের জন্য আবেদন  https://bdris.gov.bd/br/application)
2. Death Certificate / Medical evidence to proof death,
3. Copy of Deceased’s Bangladesh Birth Certificate;
4. Copy of deceased’s Bangladesh Passport and NID card;
5. Copy of deceased’s visa, Identity Card or other residency proof card;
6. Deceased’s 2 copy passport size photographs (55mmx45mm) if any;
7. Applicant’s passport copy, visa copy and ID card copy
